Thank you for ordering from Browns Market! This page explains our shipping policies to help ensure your order arrives quickly and smoothly.

Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 business day.
  • “Processing” refers to the time required to prepare your order for shipment; it does not include transit time.
  • Processing times may be longer during holidays or high‑volume periods.
  • Orders placed after 11:00 AM EST may begin processing the following business day.

Shipping Time & Costs

Shipping speed and cost depend on the delivery method selected and your location.

Ground Shipping

  • Cost: $15.00
  • Free Shipping: Free for orders over $149.99 per delivery address if the delivery address is within the UPS 2‑Day Ground Zone.
  • Delivery Time:
    • Perishable items: 2 business days
    • Non‑perishable items: Up to 5 business days
  • Perishable items may only ship Ground if the address qualifies for UPS 2‑Day Ground service.

Expedited Shipping (2‑Day)

  • Cost: $30.00
  • Discount: Orders over $149.99 per address receive a $15 discount (final cost: $10.00).
  • Delivery Time: 2 business days
  • Service Area: Contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states)

Rush Shipping (Overnight)

  • Cost: $45.00
  • Discount: Orders over $149.99 per address receive a $20 discount (final cost: $25.00).
  • Delivery Time: 1 business day
  • Service Area: Contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states)

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship only to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
We do not ship to:

  • P.O. Boxes
  • APO/FPO military addresses
  • U.S. Territories
  • Hawaii or Alaska

Delivery Delays

Delivery times are estimates. Browns Market is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather issues
  • Natural disasters
  • Carrier delays
  • Incorrect, incomplete, or missing address details (e.g., apartment/suite/floor numbers)

If there's a significant delay, we will do our best to notify you and assist in resolving the issue.

Missing or Lost Packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, or if it becomes lost in transit, please contact us within 24 hours of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to investigate.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
Tracking may take up to 12 hours to show updates.
You can track shipments at www.ups.com.

Perishable Shipping

We package perishable items (such as cheeses or refrigerated foods) using:

  • Insulated containers
  • Ice packs or cold‑retention materials

Perishable items typically ship via the fastest available method (Expedited or Rush). If your address is outside the UPS 2‑Day Ground zone, perishable items must ship via 2‑Day or Overnight services, and additional charges may apply.

Important:
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive perishable shipments. Browns Market is not responsible for spoilage caused by unattended deliveries.

Saturday Delivery

Saturday delivery may be available depending on the carrier and location. Availability is not guaranteed.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Because many of our products are perishable, we cannot accept cancellations or changes once an order has been processed.

International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping.

Holiday Shipping

Processing and delivery times may be longer during major holidays.
